AGRUCAPERS, S.A. was founded in 1968 due to the merger of eleven small caper exporting firms. As a result the newly established company inherited the expertise and business acumen of its founders. Since then a significant process of expansion took place resulting in the present-day company.
The factory in Spain has a total area of 59,550 sqm with a building and covered surface of 12,290 sqm. There are also seven bonded warehouses with 2,200 sqm all spread through the collecting areas in the countryside that make the best logistic reinforcement for a wide purchasing network.

Healthy eating trends have created new interest in the Mediterranean primary agricultural products, which are again in demand as consurmers turn to natural, unprocessed products.


So, for strategic reasons, running the time, AgrucapersSA. decided to establish a daughter factory in Turkey. The Company name is TARIMSAL and is located in Kemalpasa, Izmir. The total surface of the factory is of 38,000 sqm, with a constructed area of 3,000 sqm.

In March 1995, another daughter factory would be established to reinforce Agrucapers position in the market. This time the investment was made in Morocco. The Company name is URCIMAR SA. and is located in Fes, at the Industrial Zone of Bensouda, upon a site of over 7,000 sqm with a constructed area of 5,000 sqm.

Today AGRUCAPERS SA is with no doubt the largest Capers supplier in the world giving a specialized service to cover all our customers needs in every segment of the market: bulk, catering and retail as well as delicatessen.
