PATATAS FRITAS RUBIO, S.C.L.

The beginning of our activity goes back to 1965 when, in a small village -El Chaparral- in Cehegin, (Murcia). Alfonso Fernández Valera started to toast almonds in the village bakers, packing and distributing them throughout all the bars in the region. Little by little their clients demanded other products, Alfonso decided to manufacture handmade crisps and pork rinds, thus getting to expand its market and to be known in the Region of Murcia for its excellent crisps. In the 1980s after the increase in production, he decided to build new facilities with modern technology in accordance with the time. Generational change took place in the 1990s, improving its success. In the year 2007 Patatas Fritas Rubio expanded yet again, this time with the construction and opening of a new factory in Bullas. The new facilities have allowed Patatas Fritas Rubio increase production capabilities and to develop new product lines.
