Carchelo is a family winery founded in 1990 in a small vineyard farm in the Carche area around Jumilla (Murcia). The winery owns its 70-hectare farm watered by a modern trickle irrigation system and gets expert advice from the prestigious Californian University, Davis. Monastrell and Tempranillo are the grape varieties used to make their wines; Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are used as well. The wines are aged in French oak casks.
